36V250W 26"/28" Front E-Bike Conversion Kit + 36V15.6Ah HL Plus Battery

This was my first foray into e-bikes, with the aim to power my wife's bike as a birthday present. It was an easy kit to fit, aside from the frame I was fitting it to being quite outdated! The fork consists of rounded tube right up to the attachment point for the wheel, and I had some problems with interference between the motor body and the fork - this was solved by swapping washers around a little. Then there was a lack of attachment points for the battery (standard on modern frames I believe, but this frame had no such points). However a drill and tapping of the holes solved that issue in short order. The worst part of the conversion was entirely my own fault, as it involved dismantling the supplied 26" wheel and re-building around the front wheel that was originally on the bike (28"). I then had to do some research to find out how to program the LCD for a 28" instead of a 26" - but that wasn't too bad when I found the correct instruction manual online.

Despite being my wife's bike, I have been using it since to pick up my son from nursery in the evenings - it handles hills very well even with the two of us on the bike, and has been a godsend this week gone as I knackered my legs with a large DIY project!

All in all, I'd recommend this kit. So much so, I have recently bought another to convert my own bicycle for my birthday present (correct wheel size ordered this time, though I may re-spoke my existing wheel anyway).

One thing to note though - the legality of the throttle on a UK bike is in question. I believe a throttle is allowed to power the bike up to 4.5 mph without pedalling, however this kit seemed to power all the way up to the 15.5 mph. Perhaps there is a setting to configure this in the LCD interface. But to avoid any possible problems and to make me less of a likely target, I decided to remove the throttle from the bike following my research. But even with no throttle, this kit is fantastic.

Delivery was excellent. Instructions are very clear. I converted my 15 year old bike that was in the garage into an ebike. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am now commuting to work with my newly converted bike. Would highly recommend. Value for money.

A little help up the hills when needed, the electric bike kit is awesome easy to fit on my giant bike, delivered very professional and promptly,it has put a new meaning to cycling for me, very good kit 5 stars

Brilliant bit of kit put it on with another 250w motor to get me up steep hills needed that extra power at my age i would recommend this kit thanks very much.

Bought a front conversion kit for my bike.Unfortunately it wasn’t suitable. Had great advice from Joey at customer service. Unfortunately I had to return to Yose. I got refund quickly. Thanks Joey for good communication.

I wasn't expecting what I bought ,I had lowered my expectations as the price v's purpose built ebikes is night and day. This kit the base product a yose power 250w front hub, battery 36volt 15.6amp ,and the wiring looming and fitting the front light ,lcd display and brakes if needed . It was plug and play . Each part had a separate cour to match it's opposite. Having mechanical skills does help but not a must. It took me around 2hours to fit everything with a clean workspace and the right tools . It came the next day which I was surprised . And I was pleasantly surprised by the kit. The one downside is there's not enough instructions . You get a qr when you download it is tiny writing and extremely hard to understand . But value for money it is and ease of doing the conversation yourself was great 🙂👍✌️😎

I have bought a couple of these kits for different bikes and they are really great!
Super easy to fit.
Good battery capacity.
Useful display and settings.
Having previously used the Swytch kit for years, I slightly prefer Yose because it's better value and has a better display, and the battery although it's big and heavy it is locked onto the bike. The Swytch battery always had to be removed and carried away.
I can't yet comment on the longevity of the Yose battery. One thing I would say of the Swytch kit is that it worked perfectly and continuously for 3 years of heavy daily use (then the battery failed...!)
Hope to get at least as much life out of the Yose kit.
