36V250W 26"/28" Front E-Bike Conversion Kit + 36V15.6Ah HL Plus Battery

I had a query, answered quickly so I placed the order. Was delivered in a couple of days. I found the instructions clear all the tools were included to fit the parts, even a crank puller. The whole conversion would have just taken a couple of hours if I hadn't chosen to upgrade my bottom bracket bearing system. Since fitting I've ridden over 70mls (110km) and only used 1 out of 5 bars of available power in the battery. So the range is very dependant on which mode you use most. I'm using all 5 modes depending what hills I encounter, I am finding that im using gears for the flat now I rarely used even downhill before. But fully charge the battery before first use, or you will risk reduced life. That's the only thing missing from the instructions. In Europe and GB this is the only spec for road use, it's meant to be pedal ASSIST, NOT an electric bike. Which is what my review is about, you won't go wrong with this company or product if my experience is anything to go by.

This is the easiest conversion I’ve done, all parts delivered very quickly and well packed. Bought 3 kits mine the wife and daughters bikes. Only fault on 1 kit the light wouldn’t turn on got in touch with yose and replacement parts dispatched again very quickly all bikes up and running

Fairly easy to fit with a good set of Allen keys included. Problem mounting the battery using existing bottle holder bolts. Had to drill and tap new bolt holes as existing were too close to crank.
Also pedal assist sensor didn't fit crank so had to buy a separate one.
Note front wheel motor and battery add a *lot* of weight to bike. Not too noticeable when cycling and motor is engaged, but without motor, or lifting bike it feels very heavy. Overall satisfied it's worth the money.

Converted a bicycle that I bought brand new and just never got on with despite many modifications. Including converting it to 8 Speed Hub Gear. This is why I went for the front wheel kit for this bicycle. This was my second fitting of a kit. They are a little time consuming and battery mounting can be challenging but it is worth every penny. Cycling is enjoyable again. Recently did 42.5km (26 miles) on PAS Level 2 and 3 and only lost one bar of battery charge. I'd easily cycle 50 miles on this bicycle now.

Now working perfectly. Had to reconnect main cables to solve initial ERR24 and front light not working problems. Needed downtube adaptor for old step through mountain bike frame. Plenty of power for hills and headwinds and only 1 of 4 bars used on battery after first fifteen miles. Fantastic value.

I had this steel framed heavy 6 speed bike in the garage and decided to use it as a project bike so I used a front wheel conversion cannot believe how good and simple it was to fit.Definite recommend its my local errand bike now👍👌

This was my first foray into e-bikes, with the aim to power my wife's bike as a birthday present. It was an easy kit to fit, aside from the frame I was fitting it to being quite outdated! The fork consists of rounded tube right up to the attachment point for the wheel, and I had some problems with interference between the motor body and the fork - this was solved by swapping washers around a little. Then there was a lack of attachment points for the battery (standard on modern frames I believe, but this frame had no such points). However a drill and tapping of the holes solved that issue in short order. The worst part of the conversion was entirely my own fault, as it involved dismantling the supplied 26" wheel and re-building around the front wheel that was originally on the bike (28"). I then had to do some research to find out how to program the LCD for a 28" instead of a 26" - but that wasn't too bad when I found the correct instruction manual online.

Despite being my wife's bike, I have been using it since to pick up my son from nursery in the evenings - it handles hills very well even with the two of us on the bike, and has been a godsend this week gone as I knackered my legs with a large DIY project!

All in all, I'd recommend this kit. So much so, I have recently bought another to convert my own bicycle for my birthday present (correct wheel size ordered this time, though I may re-spoke my existing wheel anyway).

One thing to note though - the legality of the throttle on a UK bike is in question. I believe a throttle is allowed to power the bike up to 4.5 mph without pedalling, however this kit seemed to power all the way up to the 15.5 mph. Perhaps there is a setting to configure this in the LCD interface. But to avoid any possible problems and to make me less of a likely target, I decided to remove the throttle from the bike following my research. But even with no throttle, this kit is fantastic.

Delivery was excellent. Instructions are very clear. I converted my 15 year old bike that was in the garage into an ebike. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am now commuting to work with my newly converted bike. Would highly recommend. Value for money.
