Converted my road bike to ebike. Very easy set up , i now can tackle those hills i struggled with lately , its motivated me to get out on the bike more often without the fear off hills
One of the most stressful purchases I ve made this year. The item itself is as described. It just took a long time to be delivered and meantime your being told its been delivered when that is not the truth.
I installed this on a Dahon speed folding bike, had to widen the forks as they were 75mm. I purchased a 36v seat tube battery from Yosepower to fit. Very easy to assemble and the motor is powerful for uphill use.

After 19 days order still not arrived, very hard to get in touch with this company. They answer 1 email a day, so if you ask a question and they answer then if you are not happy with their response and ask something else that can take about 4 days.

Fitting is straightforward. Positioning the magnets is tricky on brakes which are odd shaped. Shimano xt/slx shape brakes don’t have suitable flat sides so it hard to get them in a position where the magnet can be positioned. The sticky pads are a bit weak so prepare to use a strong glue like Araldite to fix in place once you’ve experimented and got the position just right
This product is very very well done, taking a Shimano hydro brake and adding the magnets and sensor was a no brainer, though it did not come with instructions the fitting was simple and worked first time. there is a little adjuster on the magnet to make sure the sensor works perfectly. I used it on a set of brakes to upgrade my rather poor Engwe L20 boost braking system. I would actually give this six stars. There is no other option in my opinion. Cheers.

Purchased a YOSE POWER battery and pannier frame to replace a Pendleton Somerby battery which is well over priced! It needed a small tweek to the wiring but once fitted it works perfectly - and half the price of the Pendleton Somerby battery! Worth every penny and fully recommended!
Good news is this works… however, there are no instructions either in the pack or online so you need to understand how it works and what it’s supposed to do. The PAS disc is drilled for 4 small screw holes at the 104mm bolt circle, the only way I could get these to mount on my 2x cranks was to drill the holes bigger so I could attach this to my granny ring fitting (which I don’t use as i run a 1x crank set up) - this works, but not i guess how it was intended as the holes are much smaller and only work if you drill them.
As i said, no instructions available, so you have to be creative and do extra work to get this to fit. No issues with what I did tho, the PAS works fine

Positives first: assistance is provided smoothly and seamlessly, cruising on flat at 25kph I barely noticed I'm climbing up 3% gradient at 24.5kph with assistance bar reaching 50%.
Install took about an hour including disc brakes and gears tune up.
It's a shame the legal speed limit in UK is so low, 20mph would make more sense now, given most cities have 20mph speed limit everywhere.
Negatives,
It's a decent kit but 12g spokes make no sense for 250w motor, 56Nm is about 1/4 of toque produced by average rider in low gear. And people ride on 28x 14g spokes wheels..
700c/28" rim is cheap butted seam rim with nipple holes burrs tall enough to go through most rim tapes and tubes.
I would rather see 14g spokes and entry level tubeless ready rim instead of tools. Let's be real, anyone attempting ebike conversion will have basic bike maintenance tools, probably better quality than cheese Allen keys supplied.
Everything you could require except the charger
I’ve waited a while before reviewing because I actually wanted to fit and ride the kit before reviewing. Well packaged, generous wiring harness, free tools (not total junk either) the wheel is nice and solid and the ugly graphics just peel off if you don’t like them. The hub motor is surprisingly compact, great if you don’t want to scream “e-bike”, brake levers and throttle are all good quality, pedal sensor is probably really neat *if* it fits your cranks (I’d didn’t mine) they do sell a more flexible KT sensor. The big screen is really nice, oozes quality and has basic settings easily accessible and some more advanced ones hidden but well documented, importantly they seem to work and do what they say on the tin. The Lishui controller is nicely made, and very quiet and smooth in operation, out of the box it’s not super powerful, but the current limit can be increased in the settings, I’m building hire bikes so I don’t want rocket ships, I was able to configure for smooth, quiet, long range and relatively low current.
Overall I would say the kit is *great* value .. you *might* be able to get all the bits cheaper if you really tried, but frankly this one stop shop is a *whole* lot easier - you’d only need to buy one incompatible part and any savings would be lost.

I've done over 7,000 miles on this motor 350W cassette in Sheffield, which is very hilly terrain, and it's been completely trouble-free. It's still very quiet, high torque and the planetary gears are in very good condition, although I've already replaced the grease. I had it set to a maximum of 600W with a gentle start. I also changed the controller and battery to 48V, which helps keep the motor running cooler.

I was happy with the speed of delivery and the battery fitted well in my Swifty Liberte folding e bike. I've been using the bike for over a week and all works well.
Better than the orginal
The Yose kit in my opinion is the best value for money. It is in my opinion far better than many purchased e bikes. The controller works in a way it only provides the power you require rather than blasting away without any ‘thought’ of how much effort is actually required.
