This sensor work well, but, I found the best secure method to fix it, is to drill the magnet plate and fix it to the chain wheel.

Right Side Sensor

The sensor comes in three parts a horse shoe bracket and two semi circular part with the magnets in it. I could not use the bracket but by bonding the two magnet parts together and bonding them into the recess in the smallest inner cog was able to create a well protected and good distance between the sensor and the pick up point mounted to the frame as designed.
