My brakes/ gears are integrated so I opted for this sensor kit.
Easy to fit and works perfectly. It cuts the power to the motor when braking. Regardless of your thumb pressing on the throttle.
The magnet has to be pretty close to the sensor so I suggest you play around with them before sticking them to the brake levers to ensure they will work.
I have reservations about whether the adhesive pads on the magnet/ sensors will stand the test of time? However I'll try the sticky pads first and see how they perform. Other than that I would have used a resin to fit them.
I've added a picture to show the location. I wanted to put the sensor /magnet at the top of the brake levers but it wasn't completely flat!

Great product as usual. However, these could be offered as an alternative to the levers in the kit instead of an extra. I now have 5 or 6 pairs of the cut off levers that come with the kit as standard as I am unable to use as most kits I convert now have hydraulic brakes.
I upgraded my bike to hydraulic brakes, meaning I couldn’t use the hose power brake levers as I had been doing. I like having the cut off working, so ordered these sensors for the new brake levers. The tape seems strong enough and the sensors haven’t come adrift several rides in. I had issues mounting the magnets, possibly due to the shape of the brake levers. Over bumps in the magnet would shift, causing the cut off to not work. In the end I placed the magnets and then applied a drop of hot glue to stop them moving around, this has worked a treat. If you have hydraulic brakes and you want the safety of a motor cut off you need these. Maybe a couple of different shaped magnets for various levers could be included in future, to overcome the issue I had.
